Last month, standing on the Life After I Left stage, I was reminded why I do this work. Not for the lights or the outfit (though the sparkly suit did make an appearance), but for the message.

A life you love can’t wait.
And it shouldn’t require burnout, breakdown, or hitting rock bottom to choose it.

I share my story so others don’t have to learn the hard way. And so they can see that what they’re longing for may be closer than they think.
