So why am I in the USA 🇺🇸?

The actual reason?

Why do I come SO often?

For him.

My Cuzzy Bill Hunter.

102 years old.
Magician.
World War II Navy Veteran.

But he’s so much more.
He’s my family.
And he’s my dear friend.

This is why we come, for family, for connection & for magical memories.
The simple moments, as well as the spectacular.

This Is my 17th time in USA, and ive seen Cuzzy at least 14 of those times. He’s the reason we come so often.

Finn is 4.5 years old and it’s his 5th time visiting his Cuzzy in the USA, and his 6th time spending time with him. We met up with him In Europe in 2023, when he was 100 years old and on a veterans tour!

And I’m just so happy …. We made it 💗

Our epic roadtrip is coming to a close 🇺🇸

While we still have another 10 days of our trip, we’ll be pretty much setting up with a home base at mt Cuzzy’s house in northern Illinois.

We’ve covered 9 states in the past 15 days and seen so much more of this huge country. We’ve learned a lot and had some moments to last a lifetime.

Lots of lessons on pacing and destinations - so all of that to come in a podcast!

And so many daily reels to catch up on … but for now! A bunch of pics from the last week of our trip.

So proud of Finn for how he’s handled long long days in the car & grateful to Matt for doing all the driving and being mostly patient with my travel enthusiasm haha.

She lounges in the grass, basks in the sun, plays with her cubs.

And when it’s time? She moves with purpose. She hunts. She wins.

Then, she rests again.

That’s the rhythm we’re meant to live by. But too often, we forget.
We stay “on” all the time, hustling until burnout hits.

This season, I’m choosing to rest and receive. To nourish myself so I’m ready when the big dreams come calling.

Rest deeply.
Breathe fully.

Whether it’s near or far, take breaks, top up your tank and let your heart be full.

I actually loved Wyoming so much.

It’s so big & open, I felt the quiet and still of the land. It did feel wild and free.

Here I felt the clarity coming.

And I also loved the limited wifi / internet so I was forced to just be as we drove across this incredible state.

It may be a cheesy platitude but I paused at this print at a tourist location & smiled.
