The truth is, there was never going to be a "perfect" time.

There was just a moment when everything aligned.

In this episode, I share why moving to India feels so right for our family, how it aligns with our values, and the little 11:11 moment that reminded me I was exactly where I needed to be.

Yesterday I shared that we’re moving to India for three months. 
Today, I wanted to share a little more about the why.
 This isn’t a spontaneous decision or a midlife crisis. 😂
 India has been part of my life for more than 20 years. I’ve visited 18 times, lived there for two months, built lifelong friendships, and for the past nine years I’ve partnered with Indus Bound to help others experience this incredible part of the world.
 It’s also not our first family adventure. Matt and I travelled through India together in 2017, and we’ve since taken Finn twice.
 So many of your questions have been about school, work, business, our  house... and yes, even the cat!  
I’ll be sharing all of that over the coming weeks because I want to take you behind the scenes, not just of moving to India, but of what it really looks like to build a life that gives you choices.  And I shared a lot more of the scoop on my latest episode of The Emma Lovell Show podcast.  
Because that’s what The Bleisure Life has always been about.

We’re moving to India! After months of planning

We’re moving to India!

After months of planning, conversations and figuring out the logistics, I’m finally sharing the full story behind our family’s decision to spend three months living, working and travelling throughout India.

In this episode, I answer the questions everyone has been asking:
✨What will Mathew do about work?
✨What about Finn’s school?
✨How will I run my business?
✨And what are we doing with our home and our beloved cat, T’Challa?

I also share some exciting changes happening within my businesses, including the repositioning of Rest & Receive, the growth of my retreat consulting work, plans for VIP Days in India and a NEW business aquisition.

But this episode is about much more than moving overseas. It’s about refusing to wait 15 years for the freedom you want. It’s about recognising that time with the people you love isn’t guaranteed and choosing to create a life you love now.

We’re moving to India. 🇮🇳

I told you I had a big announcement 😉

This evolution is really about returning to who I am and what lights me up.

The intrepid traveller.
The adventurous soul.
The childlike spirit that comes with the awe and wonder of exploring the world.

And yes, by we, I mean all three of us.

My husband, my son and I are moving to India.

Well… we’re moving for three months.

From November 2026 to January 2027, India will be our home.

I know you’ll have lots of questions, and I’m recording a full podcast to answer them. Although, to be honest, we’re still figuring some of it out ourselves!

Yes, I’ll absolutely be continuing my business. In fact, it’s because of my business that we’re able to do this.

The retreat side of my business, and my partnership with Indian Travel Company @indusbound , continue to grow, and I see so much opportunity there. So we’re giving it a chance.

We also feel incredibly fortunate to have a beautiful home and a wonderful base here in Australia. Knowing that’s here for us has given us the confidence to embrace more travel and adventure.

Finn will be taking some time away from school, Matt will be taking some time off work, and we’re going to fully embrace this season together.

India has always lit me up. It’s a place that radiates vitality, colour, life and possibility. Every time I’m there, it feels like a part of me comes home. It’s my heart home 💖

The only thing that’s ever been missing is my two boys. They are my heart.

Now I get to experience it with them, and I honestly can’t wait. My heart is already so full just planning it.

I can’t wait to share this journey with my family, and I can’t wait to share it with you too.

It’s an evolution! My post yesterday and some

It’s an evolution!

My post yesterday and some of my elusiveness has peaked curiosity.

And as a friend pointed out, really what I’m talking about is repositioning. But that’s not language that everyone uses but also there are some changes and some shifts that I am making in the business and things that are being added that will be a difference to how you know me to be operating.

I think all will become clearer soon but what I’m sharing here is that it’s it’s our role is business owners and as anyone with a platform to share what our message and our mission is in order that people can come along and be a part of it.

It’s my role as a business owner to tell you how you can work with me and how you can get involved and to understand what that position is

I think it’s very natural for businesses and humans to evolve. It’s absolutely the only way forward but we don’t always see it in real time.

We often just see the finish product or the outcome.
#I think at the moment we are seeing a lot of people in business businesses in the middle of their evolution.

So this is me bringing you along on the wild ride and I look forward to sharing a few exciting updates soon!
