Travel The World, Make Money, And Live A Life You Love Now…

I bought a business! 🎉
 And I’ve been keepi I bought a business! 🎉
 And I’ve been keeping this one quiet for almost a year… Last year, I became the new owner of Retreat Me Happy, an online retreat directory that has been connecting people with retreats since 2019. I purchased the business from its previous owner, and it felt like such a natural fit with the work I was already doing in the retreat space. But then I did something I think we all do sometimes… I kept waiting for the “right” time. There was always another project, another priority, another reason to push it back. Until I remembered my own advice: Just start. It’s never going to be the perfect time. Sometimes you have to MAKE the time, put a date in the calendar and commit. So I have. Retreat Me Happy officially relaunches on 14 August! This is the first announcement, and there is plenty more to come about what we’re creating, who it’s for and where we’re taking it next. A few people have asked me, “Why India?” The A few people have asked me, “Why India?” The simple answer is... business. Not because I’m leaving Australia or stepping away from my work. Quite the opposite. I’m spending three months in India because that’s where a big part of my business is growing. For the past nine years, I’ve partnered with Indus Bound, helping Australians experience India, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bhutan. As the retreat side of my business has grown, so has the opportunity to support retreat hosts on the ground through Rest & Receive. I’ve also had the chance to do more speaking and MCing in India, and it feels like I just keep being called back there. Australia is one of the largest tourism markets for India, despite our relatively small population. It makes sense for me, as an Australian business owner working with Australians, to spend more time there, strengthen those relationships, and keep creating incredible experiences for my clients. Sometimes growing your business isn’t about working harder. It’s about being closer to where the opportunities are. Last night we stepped into a mystical forest 🌌 Last night we stepped into a mystical forest 🌌 Dad, Finn and I joined some beautiful friends and their children for the final night of BEYOND by @laservisionmegamedia , the immersive light experience at @sirrometwines . I loved the whole wintry feel of it. Starting by the campfire, then wandering through the vineyard after dark surrounded by lights, holograms, lasers and these magical installations. Such a clever and beautiful way to experience the winery and make use of the land at night. Afterwards we headed up for pizza and wine, which was the perfect way to finish the evening. I really hope they bring BEYOND back next year because it was such a gorgeous experience. I love travelling the world, but I also love exploring what’s right here on our doorstep and finding a little bit of magic close to home. #bleisurelife #sirromet #beyond #lightshow #queensland
