First day back “in the office”. After 5.5 wee First day back “in the office”. After 5.5 weeks of travelling through North, South and Central America, “I’m back”. But I’m guessing you’re thinking ... “Emma, you never stopped posting. You kept showing up, and pretty sure you were working?” Yes! This is all true. Because this is my bleisure life. Where my business and life are in harmony - because we only have one life. I did put an out of office on, to account for slower replies and reduced workload, but my business was still running. This was the biggest shift from my younger years of business. I would work work work, travel travel travel, work work work work, travel travel ... you get the gist. And quite frankly... burn out of each! And certainly burn out the bank account, and then any energy reserves. Adding in the flow, the harmony and the self care aka living the bleisure life, has changed it all. I believe it’s possible, because I am living it. I’m sure we’ve watched it countless times on the couch. And so despite this being a very fancy fashion movie - I wore my least trendy, and most comfy clothes. I even wore my new @crocs ! Which Emily Blunt said were the greatest fashion faux pas ever!! Earlier in the day. A tad more fashionable for brunch with the family. I love being a mum. And I love my mum. Feeling very loved 💕 by all today. So huge thank you xx
Happy Mother's Day to my lovely sister at heart, E Happy Mother's Day to my lovely sister at heart, Emma! You know how every VA is always manifesting for that ONE client who's just going to change their life? The one you just KNOW is different? Well... I found mine. And it's her. I wanna share a story that she doesn't know. Haha, every single client I talk to, I always find myself saying "I have this one client who taught me this..." or "my client showed me that..." She doesn't even know it, but she lives in my conversations ALL the time. She is my lucky charm. She made me better at what I do, better at how I think, and honestly just a better person. This woman hustles HARD, chases her dreams, and still shows up every single day as the most amazing mom to Finn. Like... how?? Finny, you are so lucky. I am so so proud of you. Not just because you're my boss (she doesn't want to call that) but because you're genuinely one of the best people I know. Through every high and every hard day - I got you, We got this. Always.
