Travel The World, Make Money, And Live A Life You Love Now…

The way he looks at me. The way we look at him. The way he looks at me. The way we look at him. It’s not like this everyday, but gosh I love to have a visual representation of how we love each other 🩷 I’ll always invest in photoshoots. For my business. For my family. Photos are one of my most treasured possessions. Why? Because they are the physical (even when digital) asset of a memory. And memories like this - they are the truest treasure. You don’t have to wear a sequin gown, or frolick in the cenotes (if you can, do it.) but do invest in a photoshoot with your loved ones. Behind the scenes was also not always this beautiful - it takes a lot to get us there. But the love. The smiles. The giggles. The tenderness of this moment. It’s all real. Sharing in the joy 💙 Today we got to catch up Sharing in the joy 💙 Today we got to catch up with Coen at the end of his dream holiday outing to @seaworldaus. Coen is 7 years old and has been living with brain cancer since he was 15 months old. His mum is a high school friend of my brother’s and recently reached out to them to ask them advice about visiting Sea World as she’d remembered their special day with my late nephew, my brother’s son Louis. When we heard they were coming, we had to go meet up, but also call in some of our Sea World connections to make the day extra special. The family ended up with VIP passes, a dolphin meet and greet, and a special behind the scenes tour of where the Shark Bay team (aka Matt my husband) work. By the time we arrived after school, the family were Pooped. Loaded up with special souvenirs - we added one more to the pile. An adoption of a sea turtle 🐢 which is apt as it is #WorldTurtleWeek. We also had a play at their holiday apartment last night and got to know the whole family more. What Coen is going through is unimaginable, and it is so huge for the entire family. This trip is all about sparking joy, creating memories and sharing precious time together. We go all in. Our family doesn’t do things in We go all in. Our family doesn’t do things in halves. Matt & I eloped to mexico 6 years ago and promised to return one day as a family. Before we even knew who that little one would be. And here we are, with our darling Finn. Creating new memories, under water, in the cenotes of #mexico. Dream big, set unrealistic desires & go after it with all your heart. Holiday at home continues. The Gold Coast is Aust Holiday at home continues. The Gold Coast is Australia’s number one holiday destination, and we happen to live here. My husband also happens to work at one of Australia’s most loved tourist attractions, @seaworldaus, so today when Finn said he wanted to go there instead of a local community event, I said okay! One of my favourite Bleisure Life travel hacks is to experience your home like you’re on holiday. So many people come to the Gold Coast for their first family holiday, or one of their most memorable family holidays, and Sea World is often part of that experience. We’re very fortunate to be able to pop in whenever we like with our annual passes. It had actually been a while since we’d visited, so it was lovely to spend the afternoon there. We got to see Matt at work, spend time with the incredible marine animals, and these days Finn is all about the rides, so we hopped on a few rollercoasters too. I know not everyone has a theme park in their backyard, but the message of a holiday at home still stands. I think we often look far and wide for adventure when some of the best experiences are right around the corner. Today was a good reminder for me to practise what I preach. And as it happens, this week was International Play Day. My friend @sparkpophq shared a beautiful reminder: let your child lead. So when Finn said Sea World, I followed his lead.
