I just saw a sea turtle 🐢 on the open ocean & i I just saw a sea turtle 🐢 on the open ocean & it made me cry. I’m sitting out on my deck. I was doing a voice note to a business colleague, and then I spotted it. He must be big for me to see him from 9 levels up on a cruise ship. He’d surfaced in the wash of the boat, and he had a bright brown back, and I could see his yellow head, and his flippers flapping furiously. It made me cry cos this song popped in to my head right right away. Keep your head up. That’s what th total was doing. Even in that turbulent white wash of the boat, he kept his head up. I’ve got an email this week coming out to my subscribers about small businesses and their need for support right now. One by one I’m seeing businesses close and friends who’ve owned them for years, leave for the stability of paid work from another. Business success is about persistence. It’s at times about survival. It’s keeping your head ups even when the waves are unseasonably strong. Be like the sea turtle 🐢 and just keep swimming. He also looked super calm and curious. So I shall embrace curiosity, be the calm in the storm & enjoy sitting on this balcony marvelling at this natural work we get to be a part of. In case you neee it today, be the sea turtle 🐢🌊
